VIVA’s Antibacterial ACP Sheets: Your shield against offending germs

Our daily activities expose us to harmful bacteria, germs, and microbes that conveniently hide behind clean surfaces. However, there has been a growing awareness that surfaces of the kitchen, hospital, healthcare center, kids’ room, health spa, gym, fitness studios, food factories, laboratories, entertainment venues, and bathrooms are like a red carpet for disease-causing pathogens and microbes, thanks to the moisture and oil content present in the air that acts as a cherry on the cake.

In response to the heightened demand for hygienic and toxin-free living conditions, VIVA has introduced an antibacterial aluminium composite panel to safeguard against bacteria such as coliform, staphylococcus aureus, salmonella, enteritis bacterium, MRSA, E. coli, black mold, biofilm, fungi, and legionella. The antibacterial and bactericidal coating of the ACP sheets will help curb microbial reproduction and gradually kill bacteria that come in contact with or are within a few feet of the surface by releasing a biocide.

The silver ions embedded in the anti-microbial coating of ACP panels are released on exposure to moisture in the atmosphere. The effectiveness of antibacterial ACP sheets remains unaltered despite abrasion or the use of cleaning materials.
