As per National Building Code 2016 and local fire safety regulations, FR rated ACP is mandatory for: all buildings above 15m height, hospitals and healthcare facilities, airports and railway stations, shopping malls and multiplexes, hotels and hospitality buildings, educational institutions, and all government buildings.
Standard PE coated ACP is combustible and not suitable for high-rise or fire-mandated applications. FR B1 mineral core ACP is fire-retardant. FR A2+ ACCP is nearly non-combustible — the safest ACP available in India for high-rise and critical infrastructure.
